Again, it’s not being said aloud much. But it’s in the background.

This way of thinking :

“all those people could have rose up a long time ago and ejected Hamas long before Hamas became as powerful as it is now, but they did not”

“the people of Gaza instead chose to be complicit with Hamas”

as a moral justification for what Israel is doing at present is not very strong at all.

I have heard also a not-spoken-out-loud – Klubberz V. Hatzenb├╝hl has come closest with a population chart – implying that the Palestinian population has been encouraged to have as many children as possible so the Hamas can use them as cannon fodder – or bomb fodder really – and for sympathy. [1/2 the population of Palestine is under-18]

This is the “they are using them as human shields” justification but spelled out as a kind of intentional program.

but again not only is that way of thinking a weak justification it is actually a very immoral justification at its most basic form; as a kind of “exte_rmi_nation of excess hu_mans who were born for the wrong reasons”.

Again, it’s not being said aloud much. But it’s in the background.
