ou anti-capitalist! Succinct, perfect, proverb-worthy aphorisms should fit and look good on a large mug. Note: I am not mocking: I don’t do sarcasm. I would personally be honored to have my words on a mug somewhere, on a professor, politician’s or an archimandrite’s desk, inspiring them with every sip of their coffee, tea or soup. For you, Seedy Johnson – this is a #winwinwin quote.

I repeat: absorption into the culture at large, as plastic as it may at first appear, is perhaps the greatest honor, for that means you have touched upon and entered a huge part of the collective psyche… if… you believe there is such a thing as a collective psyche. I would refer to it as culture. Just look at Aristotle; he shows up in Memes, Mugs, Bumper Stickers, T-Shirts, quotes at the bottom of messages on the Internet, written, rewritten, translated. Not bad.

“As a man of reason, I am condemned to recognize my own weaknesses. But that is better than the illusion of perfection which robs one of the will to progress.” – Seedy Johnson Aug 19, 2015
