About six years ago. I was investigating computational model of the brain coming up with my own model, which ended up being a bunch of NORs. NAND works too but the parallel of NOR I liked better. I don’t hold to a pure computational model but see it as a useful metaphor now and again. That said, I should be able to incorporate this into my current thinking as I still think it’s correct as a metaphor.
