# a very statistically thing to do… ignoring boatloads of facts in order to get a result to prove a point

As a tractor trailer driver, you’re in a unique class of people numbering 1,678,280 employed in the USA.

Out of a population of 318,900,000,

This means 0.5% of the population drives tractor trailers. More than both High IQ and Transgenders but still quite uncommon.

Now let’s go further: If the class of tractor trailer drivers that you are in was representative of the averages that led to the statistic pointing to the result of 0.0042% for high IQ [assuming also that you were in the identical IQ class as  ) – in short:

IF one applies the Bell Curve right on TOP of the 0.5%:

[and this is a REALLY broad generalization to do so… or rather, a very statistically thing to do… ignoring boatloads of facts in order to get a result to prove a point]:

That’s 0.0042% of 0.5%
0.000042 * 0.005 = 0.00000021 or 0.000021% of the population!

Wowzers! And the statistical probabilities that you would encounter Transgenders would be mathematically ridiculously uncommon…were it not for the fact that everything I said, while mathematically correct to the best of my knowledge, does not reflect reality as it is.
