A jelly jar inspired this a few years ago.
I looked at a jelly jar and it dawned on me that the ink the label paper the resin glue the glass the components in the jelly the air the metal cap the date on the outside of the glass – the different colors on the label — they will all age differently because they started at different points and will end at different points.

But those materials all touch and interface each other as well
In my minds eye I watched this jar of jelly age
