a) i never understood the word “dialectic”. It’s gives me a feeling like
“something like a conversation, something like opposites”
but it hurts my head when I try to think of what it means. I can’t seem to pin the concept down in my head. I like being surrounded by people smarter than I and you’re one.
So I just grin and nod when I see it used and hope context clears it up 😛
c) maybe presence? the internet is my post-modern litterbox?
b) i want to ‘get’ people and i want people to ‘get’ me but i have no idea how to do it. usually it works in little ‘moments’. it’s nearly hopeless in person but online there’s little moments where I’m like “hey, i get that person” or “hey, that person gets me”. it’s fragmentary and momentary but nice when it happens. worth it
