A concept is a theory of a category. So you have a theory of a category of abstract space. Abstract is an adjective. Space a noun. Is there a concept of space? Yes. Volume. Outer space. Etc. are they abstract? What’s abstract? Does it have an opposite? It does. Concrete. Is there concrete space? Yes. Measurable volumes. Distances between things. Space can be construed as “betweenness”. I have just constructed the concept of abstract space.
