I get frustrated every time an event occurs where security is lax, safety precautions are lax and people get hurt or die.
This happens in North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Middle East. Everywhere on the planet where people gather.
People get crushed, trampled, shot, hurt, broken bones, lives destroyed.
And it gets my ire because people management is a known science and there is no reason to not be able to prevent most of these from occurring at all and yet they do.

So my flippant response was a bit of self-protection. These events break my heart and get my angry because we trust the venues to have these precautions in place and they don’t because SOMEBODY cut corners along the way, not realizing the weight of responsibility that is necessary when caring for thousands of people in an enclosed area.
